It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sandra Francis of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 79, on August 14, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Arthur C. Peterson and Dorothy W. Peterson (Shannahan); and her former husband Nigel "Doug" Francis. She is survived by: her daughter Samantha Francis (Karl Musser) of Brunswick, MD; her sister Karen Liebel of Houston, TX; her niece Kristen Naumko (Andres) of Houston, TX; her close friend Lise Faircloth; her friend Naval; and her close friend Girl Scouts.
Due to COVID, a memorial and final burial in Arlington Cemetery will occur in 2021.
