It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Palmer Mitchell of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Mitchell; his sons, Steven Mitchell (Katelyn), Bryan Mitchell and Kevin Mitchell (Pam); and his siblings, Carol Worley, Tina Wiggins and Wayne Mitchell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
