He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Waring and Jessie L. Waring; and his siblings, Burnet L. Waring of Richmond and Betty Waring Davis of St. Petersburg, Florida.. He is survived by: his wife Florence Hudgins "Mickey" Waring; his daughters, Martha Waring Massad (John) of Fredericksburg, Evelyn Waring (Wayne) and Betty Waring Evans; his grandchildren, Kristen Hayden, Jaclyn Evans, Robert Massad, Jessie Massad and Julia Evans; his brother Marshall L. Waring of Richmond; and his sister-in-law Ann Schaefer Waring of Richmond.
