He was predeceased by: his brother Terry Gillig; and his parents, Theodore Gillig and Edna Gillig. He is survived by: his son Steve (Angie); his grandchildren, Lorelle and Jared Gillig; his significant other Linda Pemberton; his significant other's son James Hammons (Liz Lammonds); his siblings, Janice Jensen and David Gillig; and also Lily.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Rappahannock or to a nature/environmental organization of your choice.
