He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Gramann and Gladys Sommers Gramann; his daughter Barbara Jean Gramann; his brother Richard; and his parents-in-law, Berta Gramann, Robert Hayes and Alice Lou Gramann.

He is survived by: his children, Robert A. (Mary Lou), Dr. William J. (Rebekah) and Carol Ann; his siblings, Arthur Gramann and Gloria Hayes; and his sister-in-law Beatrice Gramann. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
