It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Hughes (Fredericksburg, Virginia), who passed away on June 19, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Brooks and Geraldine Brooks; his daughter Christine Collins; and his brother David Ray Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Robert Hughes, Jr. and Tawnya Hughes; his brothers, Douglas Brooks (Lisa) and Richard Brooks (Robyn); his grandchildren, Alisha, Destiny, Jade and William; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Brooks, Tammy Lester (Larry) and Buddy Turner. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews; and other loving extended family.
