He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Long Cox; his parents, Robert L. Cox, Sr. and Lucy M. Cox; and his sister Peggy Gould. He is survived by: his children, Robert D. Cox (Amanda) and Tracy Feuer (Mike); and his sisters, Linda Amos (Chuck) and Sue Taormina (Tony).
