He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Brown and Dora Mathena Brown; his wife Patricia "Patsy" Brown; his children, Victoria Sample, Gregory Brown (Yaneth) and Dana Carmichael (David); his stepsons, R. Douglas Rudolph and Eric Rudolph (Jim); and his grandchildren, Ryan Sample, Logan Sample, Austin Sample, Emma Carmichael and Evan Brown.
