He was predeceased by: his mother Bertina "Bambi" Williams. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his son Benjamin Williams (Kate); his father DeWayne Williams; and his siblings, Roddy Williams (Patsy) and Bonnie Williams.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Breast Cancer Research Foundation or to Ducks Unlimited by sending a check to Treasurer Fred DU and mail to: 10902 Woodland Drive Fredericksburg, Va 22407.
