She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, N. S. Vijayaraghavachar and Ranganayaki V. Char; her husband Dr. Vijay Ragavan; her son Dr. Deepak Raghavan; her daughter-in-law Dr. Darshana Alle; her grandchildren, Parth Raghavan and Avik Raghavan; and her siblings, Char, Ramanuja Iyengar, Narasipur Srinivasa, Sr., Jaysri Kunnathur, Pannaga Prasad, Vasantha Shashi and Komala Rajan.
Additionally, she donated to cancer research, which was a cause that she was very passionate about.
