He is survived by: his children, Tarah Janel Sayles, Tiffany Sayles Duncan (Jimmy) and Michael Levi Sayles, Jr.; his grandchildren, Mikelia Lauderdale, Tianna Lauderdale, Alexzandria Taylor, Malik Sayles, Trentez Elston and Jamari Peters; his siblings, Gertrude Colter, Deborah Sayles of Fredericksburg, Jessie Wheeler of King George and William Sayles (Portia) of Fredericksburg, Virginia.; and also, Winston Spidell and Wynette Birdsong. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
