He was predeceased by: his son Melvin Douglas Ryckman, Jr.; and his parents, Charles C. Ryckman and Zelma Ryckman. He is survived by: his wife Sharnette M. Ryckman; his daughter Karla Wooddell; and his stepdaughter Terry Hill. He is also survived by two grandsons; one granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren.
