She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest A. Petitt Jr.; and her sister Ruth Ann Penn. She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki L. Petitt of Springfield and Ann Marie Lewis (C. Taylor Lewis, Jr.) of Fredericksburg; and her sister Barbara McDonald of Lorton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
