She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Carson Artrip; and her siblings, Marie, Theodore, Hilbert, Johnnie, Irene, James and George.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer A. Franklin; her son-in-law William W. Franklin of Goochland, Virginia; and her sister Sarah Ellen Amburgey of Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
