He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vogt and Marie Vogt (Lundy) of Matteson, IL.; his wife Brenda Vogt (Sumner); his parents-in-law, Ronald and Lois Sumner; and his granddaughter Klaira Louise Peterman.

He is survived by: his children, Sheri of Piqua, Sarah of Springfield, VA, Rebecca (Alex) of Springfield, VA. and Paul (Tamara) of Naples; his grandchildren, Nathanael, Hannah, Reonnah, Aliviah and Aliyah; his brother James Vogt; his grandchild Oakley Brynn; his siblings, George, Thomas Vogt and Judith Brescia; and his sister-in-law Carol Sumner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law (s), several cousins.
