Marilyn Lampin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Lampin of Fredericksburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Frank Kimel and Mildred Virginia Kimel (Schaeffer); her husband George Lampin; her uncle James H. Schaeffer; and her cousins, J. Blaine Schaeffer and Mary Elizabeth Schaeffer Shobe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carmella J. Tritt (Euel Tritt) of Fredericksburg, VA and Christina A. Lopez (Gregory Lopez) of Springfield, VA; and her siblings, Alvin Kimel II of Roanoke, VA and Ninon Seymore of Virginia Beach, VA.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
