She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Lewis Sr. and Ethel A. Lewis; her husband Nathaniel Grant; her siblings, Welford Lewis, Sr., George Lewis, Sr., Lawrence Lewis, William "Bill" Lewis Jr. and Ethel "Bernadette" Lewis; and her siblings-in-law, Susie Catherine Lewis and Albert Mcilwain.
She is survived by: her children, Takeisha Holmes of Hustle, VA., Nameka Lewis (Erik) of Fredericksburg, Jonathan Dear of New Haven, CT. and Dalontae Lewis of Fredericksburg, VA.; her siblings, Susie Mcilwain of Spotsylvania, VA. and Ronald Lewis of New Carrolton, MD.; her sisters-in-law, Valarie Lewis of Fredericksburg and Mary Lewis Williams of Fredericksburg; and her grandchildren, Teonna Hyslop, Tearra Hyslop, Tey'monie Comfort, Eryka Blue, Jaylin Dear, Jermiah Crowder, Nylay Nugent, Eli Dear and Zariah Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.
