With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Payne Willard (Fredericksburg, Virginia), born in Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on June 2, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse A. Willard; her son Jeffrey A. Willard; and her husband Alvin R. Henderson, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Julie Pollard (Henry), Nancy Willard, James Willard (Janet) and Alvin R. Henderson, Jr. (Jayne); her grandchildren, Sarah Sirica (Nick), Judson Willard, Jesse Willard, Elizabeth Willard Luevano (Marcus), Bailey Willard, Margo Henderson Francisco (Kevin) and Alvin R. Henderson III (April); her great grandchild Gustavo James Luevano; and her nieces and nephews, Gina Snellings Jacobs, John Snellings, Larry Wiltshire, Sara Wiltshire, Cliff Payne, Carol Gulick, Ron Payne and Robyn Payne Modly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Fletchers United Methodist Church.
