She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernether Bosier (Myers) and Canty Bosier; and her siblings, George, Dorothy and Nancy.
She is survived by: her husband Howard; her children, Dana Ismael, Nina "Penny" Coleman-Alston and Randal Coleman; her grandchildren, Atiyah, Amir, Asim Ismael, Alana Armstrong and Janai Coleman-Bens; her great grandchildren, Aminah Ismael and Maddox Armstrong; her sisters, Margaret "Dee" Bosier and Elizabeth "Tootsie" Marshburn; and also, Pastor Shirley Brooks and Minister F. Hughey.
