He was predeceased by: his parents, Adjutor Dionne and Marie Anne Dionne (Castonguay); and his siblings, Camille, Lucien, Carmen and Yolande Dumont.

He is survived by: his sons, Dominique M. Dionne (Mariana) of Manassas, VA, Damien L. Dionne (Kelley) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Donovan G. Dionne of Harris, MN.; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Daniela, Cody, Melina, André and Riley; and his siblings, Marie Pal of Leawood, KS, Maurice Dionne of Plaster Rock and New Brunswick.
