It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leslie Marcia Sauerhafer Cox of Fredericksburg, Virginia, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Sauerhafer and Winifred Sauerhafer (Hagerty). She is survived by: her husband Michael Charles Cox; her children, Lynley Cox, Eileen Cox, Cecily Boateng (Michael), Edith Wilson (Drew), Trudy Cox, Timothy Cox (Melissa) and Kanani Cox; and her siblings, Lucy Briggs and Martin Sauerhafer (Kim). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
