With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaToya Young (Fredericksburg, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her daughter Jasmine "Jazzy" Young of Ruther Glen, VA; her parents, Marjorie Cotton of Ruther Glen, VA and Benny Young (Lydia) of Spotsylvania, VA; her siblings, Seleena McClain (Carlos) of Ruther Glen, VA, Michael Watson of Spotsylvania, VA and Kalyn Young (Yuris) of Caroline County, VA.; her aunts, Hattie Young, Annette Young of Kansas City, MO and Lois Elmure of Dallas, TX; her uncle Barley Watson of Fredericksburg, VA; her nieces and nephews, Tyquan, Kijuana, Asia, Karlos McClain, Michael Watson Jr., Akhilles Ramesse and Ezra Young; and her close friend Melvin Bradford.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the A. L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home (200 Butternut Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408).
