Katherine Gattuso Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Gattuso (Fredericksburg, Virginia), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on July 5, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest E. Burgess and Eugenia Cox Burgess; her husband John Gattuso; and her brother Ernest Edwin Burgess of Mobile. She is survived by: her daughters, Eugenia Johnson of Claremont, N. C, Nancy LaMarre of Glen Allen, VA and Eloise Gattuso of Fredericksburg, VA; and her grandchildren, Charlene Sitas of South Carolina, Roger LaMarre of Virginia, Barbara Propst of North Carolina, Richard Shoestock of South Carolina and Debbie Ferdarko of Ohio. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
