He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Santamaria; his mother Christina Santamaria; and his brothers, Victor Oliva Santamaria and Tomas Lopez Santamaria. He is survived by: his children, Mabilia Guadalupe Santamaria and Juan Carlos Santamaria; his daughter-in-law Lisee Santamaria; his granddaughters, Evelyn Arriaza Gill and Mercedes Elizabeth Santamaria; his great grandchildren, Juliana Gill and Julien Gill; and his sisters, Emma Lopez Santamaria and Alcira Santamaria. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
