It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Higgins (Fredericksburg, Virginia), born in Clifton Forge, Virginia, who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie Youmans and Frances Youmans; her children, Robert Higgins (Mary) and Marjorie Higgins Young (Scott); her grandsons, Ethan Young, Andrew Young and Patrick Bates; her sister-in-law Faye Youmans; her daughter Carol Higgins Bates; and her brother Jerry Youmans. She was also cherished by cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the building fund at Spotswood Baptist Church, or by donating blood to the American Red Cross.
