Coleman, Sr.; her parents, Robert Maitland and Ella Brintley; her stepfather Robert Brintley; her children, Roberta "Birdie" Samuels, James "Jim" Coleman (Caroline), Willard "Billy" Coleman (Sue) and Sandra "Sandy" Franklin (Banks); her brother Charles Brintley; her grandchildren, Ricky, Linda (Steve), Anne (Bruce), Katherine (Mike), Eric (Jessica), Ryan, Jordan (David), Katie (Wyatt) and Michael (Lauren); and her adoptive son Larry Pitts.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Hospital in Josie's name.
