She is survived by: her children, Debbie Jackson of Lorton, Cynthia Lash (Michael) of King George, Geraldine Ford (Anthony) of Spotsylvania and Richard Short, Jr. (Wendy) of Colonial Beach, Virginia; her siblings, Grace Short (late James Earl) of Spotsylvania, Virginia., Jane Johnson (late William) of Spotsylvania, Virginia. and Gary Jackson (Thelma) of Spotsylvania, Virginia.; her siblings-in-law, Grace Thompson (John), Ida Walker (Elmore) of Lawrenceville, Virginia and Jesse Evans (late Carliece) of Ruther Glen; her grandchildren, Ashley Lash, Whitney Lash, Christopher Lash, Alexandra Short, Gabriela Short and Andre Blackwell; and her close friend Linda Bullock. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
