He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie O. Mills and Eugene W. Mills; and his brother Richard Mills. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mills; his children, Debbie Horner (Brock), Joseph Mills, Jr. (Stephanie), Eugene Mills II and Jessica Sisson (Brian); his grandchildren, Pete, Courtney, Rachel, Kayla, Savannah, William and Michael; his great grandchild Liam; and his siblings, Sharnette Ryckman (Mel) and Kenneth Mills (Pam).
