John Stone Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2020, at the age of 93, John Stone of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ada Mae Carner and James Bernard Stone; his wife Cornelia Gould Avery; and his children, William Stone (Deborah), John Stone, Jr. (Lynn), Brian Stone and Alice Stone Brooks (Lynn). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the family will hold a small graveside service at 10:00 A. M. on Wednesday, December 30 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
