He was predeceased by: his wife Marcia K. Dunn; and his parents, John F. Dunn and Dorothy Drechsler. He is survived by: his children, John F. Dunn II (Lynn) and Jennifer Daly; his grandchildren, Brittany Dagenhart (Johnny), John Joseph Dunn II, Courtney Booth (Alex), Alix Aslinger (Taylor) and Chase Daly; his great grandchildren, Bryce Dagenhart, Leighton Dagenhart, Sadie Dagenhart, Ayla Booth and Malcolm Booth; and his sisters, Penny Barriteau and Susan Ingraham.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest United Methodist Church (2208 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22401). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
