He is survived by: his sons, Travis Williams, Gilbert Smith and John Collins, Jr.; his siblings, James Collins, Beulah, Margaret and Dorothy Collins; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Edwards (James R.) and Brenda Walker (Stanley).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the A. L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home (200 Butternut Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Quantico National Cemetery.
