He was predeceased by: his daughter Marian Winston; his grandson E. J. Elliott; and his siblings, John, Ellen, Barbara, Leonard and Bessie.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Toombs; his children, Jesse Neal Toombs, Jr. and Margie Toombs Elliott (Eric); his grandchildren, Jamie Winston, Nicole Toombs, Hunter Toombs, Bradley Elliott and Ali Elliott; his great grandchildren, Austin Elliott, Tyler Elliott, Hailee McQuiston and Avery James McQuiston; and his sister Mildred Lenox.
