He was predeceased by: his wife Pat; and his siblings, Arnold Garland, Stella Peterson, Grace Naves, Ross Garland, Glen Garland and Carson Garland.
He is survived by: his brothers, Max Garland and Robert Garland (Joan); and his stepdaughters, MaryAnn and Donna Kovak. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving extended family.
