He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Barger and Nancy Barger; and his fiancée Susan Payne. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Massara (Ted) and Jennifer Hitt (Richard); his grandchildren, Landon, Grayson, Cayden Hitt and Julia Massara; and his brother Benton Barger (Michael).
