She is survived by: her sons, Prentiss and Keith (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Jamar Jones, Jahnese, Albani, Preneashea, Jalen, Alana, Jacob, Noah and Nathan Smithers; her siblings, Hilda Smithers, Bernetta Lewis, Penelope Washington (Ervin) and Raymond Smithers; her brother-in-law Wayne Williams; and her aunt Nettie Green. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
