She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Seal; her parents, Elsie Oakes Snellings and Luther Elmer Oakes; and her brothers, Roger, Elmer and Milton.
She is survived by: her siblings, Chester Oakes, Frances Oakes Rose (Roy) and Martha Oakes Dismutes. She is also survived by eight nephews; seven nieces; numerous great-nephews and -nieces; a host of cousins; and many friends.
