With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Kathleen Edwards (Fredericksburg, Virginia), who passed away on April 14, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mitchell Simmons, Marcelene Simmons Ogburn and Lois Simmons Walker. She is survived by: her sons, Craig and Kirk (Christina); her husband Don Edwards; and her brother Roger Simmons. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 308 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401, or to the Don and Kathleen Edwards Scholarship in Computer Science, Office of Advancement, 1119 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401-5412.
