He is survived by: his close friend Kelli G. Beutel; his children, Barbara Grogan (Kenny) and James L. Strother, Jr. (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kenneth A. Grogan II (Mary), Matthew L. Grogan (Meagan), James Hunter Strother (Emily) and Heather Lee Strother; his brother Eugene C. "Sonny" Strother, Jr. (Frieda); his grandson Bo; and his sister Linda S. Patrick (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
