James Vinson Pritchert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Vinson Pritchert of Fredericksburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda Burdette (Matthew Pritchert); his former wife Frances; his mother Patricia Branthover; his brother-in-law Stephen Kauffman; and his grandson Nicholas Layne.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Pritchert (Moses); his children, Pamela Pritchert, Brittany Layne (Michael), Justin Kauffman (Tammy) and Ian Thomas (Diana); his grandchildren, Oktober, Gage, Ashton, Finn, Aslan, Amberleigh, Brooklynn, Jayden, James, Ellie, Vincent, Porter, Harvey and Savannah; his father Jack Branthover (Linda); his father-in-law Sheldon Kauffman; his sisters, Juliann Caruso (Phillip) and Jennifer Lyzak (Russell); his nieces and nephews, Steven, Jason, Stephanie, Austin (April), Trevor, Laine and Kacie; and his great-niece Kali.
Donations will go to aid in continued support of The Doorways and the incredible service they provide during a patient's transition from hospital to home.
