James Clemons Anderson Obituary

We bid farewell to James Clemons Anderson (Fredericksburg, Virginia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 6, 2024 at the age of 85. James Clemons touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Clemons Anderson and Lillian Belle Williams Anderson; his siblings, Donald Eugene Anderson and Deborah Lynn Anderson; and his brother-in-law Doug Perry.

He is survived by: his former wife Diana Sue Harrison; his daughter Susan; his wife Shirley; his children, Toni, Penny, Susie (Craig Twiggs) and Jeff (Trina); his stepchildren, David (Lindsay) and Robin (Dwayne Hall); his grandchildren, Joshua, Michelle, Noel, Hannah, Landon, Dalton, Jacob, Blake and Lukas; his great grandchildren, Aurora, Lydia, Keith, Logan, Riley and Devin; and also, David and Robin Gray.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Salem Baptist Church (4044 Plank Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
