She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Ida Boutchyard Snellings; her husband James "Jimmy" Hedge, Sr.; her children, Gail Hedge Keefe of Reidsville, NC and James Mark Hedge, Jr. (Spotsylvania); and her siblings, William "Willie" Snellings, Henry "Harry" Snellings, Norris Snellings, Vernon Hoback and Elizabeth Street.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa "Terri" Marshall (John) of Moorefield, WV, Serita Parlett (James) of Lancaster County, Cynthia "Cindy" Hurley (David "Dave") of Montross and Renee Embrey of Fredericksburg; her children-in-law, Betty Hedge of Spotsylvania, Bill Keefe of Reidsville, NC, John "Bunky" Gayle of Stafford and Mark Embrey of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Mark Hedge, Rachel Jacobs, Michelle Johnson, Matthew Keefe, John Gayle, Jr., Derek Gayle, John Marshall, Tara Reid, Aaron Marshall, Joshua ONeil and Alex Embrey; her great grandchildren, Brent, Chase, Ryleigh Hedge, Kyla "Luna" Johnson, Owen, Andrew, Caroline Jacobs, Paychence, Darien, Robert, Jackson Gayle, Kayleigh, Cambree, Ryan ONeil, Harper, Alex Reid, Logan Embrey, River, Reed Marshall and Johnny Marshall V.; her brothers-in-law, Harold "Butch" Hedge of Seagrove, NC and Murphy Street of Palmyra; her grandson John Gayle; her grandson-in-law Joe Reid; and also Margie Hurt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
