It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ina Catherine Eley (Fredericksburg, Virginia), born in Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hicks and Alma Galyen Hicks; and her siblings, Mollie Esther Hicks Grooters, Muriel Hicks Allen, Warren Lewis Hicks and Marion Emory Hicks.
She is survived by: her husband Roy L. Eley; her daughters, Vickie Nuttall and Karen Platt (Michael Wilson); her stepdaughter Cynthia Ploss (James); her grandchildren, Stephanie Mares (Jared), Christopher Hathaway (Ashley), Lisa Willard (Mike), Jennifer Childress (Rob), Laura Evans (Kyler), Wesley Platt and Jasmine Ploss; and her great grandchildren, Christian, Jacob Mares, Amelia, Carson Hathaway, Tarney Trujillo (Sean), Brody Willard, David, Ryan Childress, Autumn and Avery Evans. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
