She was predeceased by: her parents, John Atkins and Gertrude Atkins; her husband Herman M. Carneal; her daughter Jewell Anne Carneal; and her siblings, William, Norman (Jackie), Jesse Atkins (Norvella) and Pauline Hall (Chancellor).
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Atkins and Sidney Carneal. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
