It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Coleman (Fredericksburg, Virginia), who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Turner Williams and Lafayette Williams; her husband James L. Coleman; her son Richard Coleman; her grandson Alvin Coleman; and her sisters, Clarice Terrell and Frances Jones.
She is survived by: her children, James Coleman (Pamela), Louis Coleman (Terry), Robert Coleman (Loretta), Dorothy Green and Loretta Coleman; her grandchildren, Tiffany Coleman, Ramonda Carter, Christi Coleman, Robert Coleman, Jr., Jamie Green, Tracy Jones, Richard Coleman, Jr., Damita Jackson, DeeAnna Keyes, Karon Woodward, Keisha Green, Jaime Coleman, Marshall Woodward, III, Ashley Coleman, Brittany Coleman, Ciara Coleman and Candace Smith; and her sister Alice Fletcher. She is also survived by forty great-grandchildren; thirty great-great grandchildren.
