She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas E. Sprow, Sr.; her parents, Jasper D. Garnette, Sr. and Sarah Alease Hill Garnette; her siblings, Robert E. Garnette, Jasper D. Garnette, Jr. and Frances E. Garnette Moore; and her son Andre T. Tyler.
She is survived by: her children, Lateefah Muhammad, Thomas E. Sprow, Jr., Mary S. Malone (Kenneth) and Geoffrey L. Sprow (Sharon); her grandchildren, Rosella A. Sprow, Thomas E. Sprow, III, Cori L. Malone, Amanda N. Malone, Kendra L. Malone and Abdul Hafiz Muhammad; her great grandchildren, Che G. Sprow, Jessika G. Caudle and Tyler T. Malone; and her sister-in-law Ernestine W. Garnette. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
