She was predeceased by: her husband F. Howard Brooks; her parents, Wilma Wheeler and Rooney Wheeler; and her siblings, Reginald and Joyce W. Woolfrey.
She is survived by: her children, Gary H. Brooks (Martha) of Richmond and Debra Luck of Spotsylvania; her grandchildren, Geoffrey H. Brooks of Florida, Craig P. Brooks (Jaime) of Richmond, Colleen B. Marcantel (Jeremy) of Richmond, Jordan T. Luck (Emily) of Williamsburg and David W. Luck (Brooke) of Fredericksburg; her great grandchildren, Owen, Gavin Brooks, Maddox Brooks, Madilynn Luck, Judah Luck and Noel Luck; her brother Boyd M. Wheeler; and her friends, Maryann and J. R. Wilkerson.
