It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Sutphin Bowens of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Bowens Barco (Andre) and June Bowens Jallah (Jusu); her grandsons, Marcus Barco (Nikole), Cameron Barco and Augustine Jallah; and her great grandchildren, Ayden and Aaron Barco.
