He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Stellar Davenport Reynolds; his son George E. Reynolds; and his siblings, Myrtle Reynolds, Alease Hardy, Willie Sue West, Carrie Belle Wimbush, Viola Reynolds, Johnny B. Reynolds, Ulesses Reynolds, Earnest Reynolds, Charlie Reynolds and William Reynolds.
He is survived by: his children, Evelyn Logan (John) of Danville, VA, Elijah Jones, Jr. (Karole) of Danville, VA, Lamont James and Corey Reynolds (Shanelle) of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandchildren, Angela, Kimberly, Darroll, Corey, Navahna, Kyangel, Mariah, Jachaia, Tyshara, Jada and Shakera; and his sister Pearl Wilson of Danville, VA. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, a viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 6-8 PM from Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time, masks are required.
