He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred P. Bowen and Willie Bowen; and his sister Freddie Jean. He is survived by: his spouse Joyce Spivey of Moultrie; his children, Craig of Atlanta and Claudia; and his grandson Bennett Bowen Minor.
