She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Davis and Helena Davis; her husband Ned Whitling; her son Christopher; her sisters, Hazel Boucher, Dodi Davis of Turner and Lewiston of Maine; and her children, Amber Lashlee (Randolph Jones) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Julia O'Neall of Somerset, Ned Scott Whitling (Sandy) of Hustle and Leslie Chartier (Ernie) of Durham. She was also cherished by grandchildren.
